LanceDB

LanceDB is a serverless vector database built on the Lance columnar format. It runs embedded (in-process) with zero infrastructure, making it ideal for local development and edge deployment. LanceDB supports automatic versioning, multi-modal data (text, images, video), and efficient disk-based indexing for datasets that don't fit in memory.
